Managing Director: Dr Michael Court B.Ec, MBA, Ph.D.

Dr. Court has conducted his own management consulting practice since 1994. His principal consulting interests are in the strategic management of organisations and the development and implementation of balanced scorecard systems. Dr. Court’s early career was in accounting and economics in Adelaide. He subsequently enjoyed a senior management career in both the public and private sectors, culminating with periods as Secretary of the SA Health Commission, CEO of Mutual Community Health Services, and CEO of Foundation SA. He is an adjunct senior lecturer in strategic management for the International Graduate School of Business. Dr Court is a  Balanced Scorecard Master Professional.

Senior Associate: Dr Paul Walsh B.Sc, Ph.D

Dr Walsh has extensive consulting experience across the corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors. He has worked with more than 20 implementations of the Balanced Scorecard and led one of the largest Balanced Scorecard deployments in Asia at the Central Bank of Indonesia. Paul has presented more than 200 public and in-house management development workshops on KPIs and the Balanced Scorecard and has been the lead developer and presenter on the Balanced Scorecard for CPA Australia. Paul’s book, The Measurement and Management of Strategic Change, Pearson Education (2005), chronicles many applications of the Balanced Scorecard in Australia. Paul is the Program Director of AGSM’s Balanced Scorecard practice.

Senior Associate: Dr Lindsay Ryan B.Bus, MBA, Ph.D, FAIM

Dr Ryan is the Director of Corporate Education Advisers Pty Ltd. He was previously the Director of the corporate education unit of the University of South Australia for 7 years. His previous experience was as a strategic marketing/management consultant for 13 years, working with clients in such diverse industry sectors as: manufacturing, government, professional associations, banking and finance and not-for-profit. Dr Ryan’s early experience was in the television and radio industry. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. See the Corporate Education website.

 

Senior Associate: Dr Bronwyn Halliday BA, MEd, MBA, DBA

Dr Halliday is a management consultant specialising in governance, strategic and organisational reviews, and change management. Formerly National Director of Continuous Improvement with Ernst & Young, Dr Halliday has been Director, the State Library of South Australia and Executive Director, Planning SA. Her recent board appointments include the Australian Building Code Board, South Australian Housing Trust, State Supply Board, KESAB, Minda Association and State Theatre Company of South Australia. She is a Fellow, Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Senior Associate: Dr Rod Oxenberry BA, M Soc. Admin, Ph.D, AUA

Dr Oxenberry retired as Head of the International Graduate School of Management at the University of South Australia in 2004. The School delivered graduate management programs in Australia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Switzerland. He has since practiced as an education and management consultant specializing in higher education recognition, leadership mentoring and management development. Dr Oxenberry has been Chairman of the South Australian Housing Trust  and Chairman of the South Australian Reference Group for the Bureau of Migration, Multiculturalism and Population Research.

Senior Associate: Dr Murray Olliver MBA, DBA, FETI

Formerly Senior Deputy Public Trustee for the S. A. Government, Dr Olliver was Director of MBA programs and later Director of the Master of Management program at the University of South Australia until his retirement in 2008. He is currently part-time Director of the Masters program between the University of South Australiaand ICFAI University (India). He has consulted widely in both the public and private sector, with a focus on strategic management and strategic thinking.
