Our BSC Community

The Australian BSC User Community

There are many users of the BSC methodology in Australia. They include large and small companies of all kinds, as well as
very large Commonwealth and State Government Departments, statutory authorities and other public agencies, Local Governments, Universities and Higher Education Institutions, private schools and colleges, major charities and not-for-profit organisations.

All have spent years developing and implementing their BSC systems and have run into and solved many problems along the way. In so doing, they have built up an invaluable body of knowledge and understanding about the implementation of balanced scorecard systems in Australia. Unfortunately, most of this knowledge is locked up inside individual organisations and is inaccessible.

Balanced Scorecard Australia is helping to unlock this knowledge by building a community of Australian BSC users who are able to share their knowledge about balanced scorecard systems and to learn from each other’s experiences.

How does it work?

Organisations register as members of the BSC User Community, provide some basic details, and nominate a confidential contact person. Details are entered into BSA’s confidential BSC Users Register.   This register is not available to third parties and will not be used by BSA to solicit business. Simple aggregate data will be compiled with regard to the use of the BSC methodology in different industries and regions. Members will receive BSA's bi-monthly e-Newsletter and may be invited by BSA from time to time  to participate in specific research activities.   BSA's Privacy Policy

The BSA User Community Register allows BSA to put members in touch with other members who have indicated their willingness to be approached. (BSA always checks with the confidential contact person in an organisation to ensure that the contact is acceptable.) BSA also contacts User Community members to participate in research programs and regional workshops and also to participate in BSA’s expert panels.

Other benefits for members:
Organisations that are registered BSC User Community members:
• Receive a 10% discount on staff attendances at BSA training courses and conferences.
• Receive BSA’s bi-monthly Enewsletter about BSC developments, with particular focus on Australia and SE Asia.
• Receive early notice about BSA’s regional workshops and conferences program. These workshops and conferences focus on specific types of organisations and problem solving. BSA will share the results of its research programs and keynote speakers will be drawn from amongst User Community members and share their BSC experiences.
